Registered Nurse Applicant Disclosure Self-Help

  • Registered Nurse Applicant Disclosure Self-Help

RN Guardian’s panel attorneys have been representing Registered Nurse applicants in disclosing their past convictions to the Board of Registered Nursing for the last 15 years. We have a 98% success rate in getting our clients licensed, most upon initial application! We’ve been contacted by nursing students in every state wanting our assistance in getting their RN licenses. This is why we developed a self-help option for nurses in all states for only $350.00!

If you have been convicted of any misdemeanor or felony, especially those that involve alcohol or drug use, you will be required to disclose that conviction to the Board of Nursing when you apply for your license. In most states, this applies even if your conviction has been expunged, dismissed or deferred. You will be required to furnish your fingerprints and the Board of Nursing will be able to access your entire criminal history, so it is critical that you disclose everything and that your disclosure is done properly.

RN Guardian Legal DIY will provide you with everything you need to prepare and submit a formal legal disclosure of your conviction to your Board of Nursing. You will receive an easy to follow checklist of the documents to obtain, examples of letters of explanation, examples of letters of recommendation and finally a writable cover letter to print and submit. Best of all, this service costs 75% less than our typical retainer for our California clients! After all of the schooling, tuition and studying, you want to make sure that your application is perfect and RNG Legal DIY gives you the legal framework needed to do it yourself.

Even if your initial application is denied, don’t worry. We have a self-help option for the Appeal process, as well. 98% of our student nurse clients get their RN licenses, and we are confident that if you follow our legal self-help program, you will get yours, too.

  • We are not able to offer the self-help option to California nurse applicants at this time. Please contact RN Guardian, here.
  • This program is only recommended for students ready to apply for their licenses within a few weeks.
  • This program is best suited for the disclosure of alcohol or drug related arrests or convictions. You may still proceed if you were arrested for some other crime like shoplifting or theft, but the instructions and examples are geared towards substance abuse issues.
  • It is highly recommended that you have completed court ordered probation or have at the very least, completed all your sentencing requirements. Showing the Board that you have taken responsibility for your actions by doing what the courts required of you is critical in getting your license.
  • If you used an attorney, they should be able to provide you with all the documents you will need. If you do not have all of your court documents, you will want to gather them before you will be able to complete your application.
  • Excellent! You are ready to create your own professional legal application disclosure!
