Having built comprehensive legal defense programs for police officers, firefighters, and other first responders, Paul recognized a critical gap in support for nurses facing disciplinary actions from licensing boards. RN Guardian was created to fill that gap—offering nurses the same level of protection and legal advocacy traditionally reserved for other licensed professionals.
Jennifer Coalson-Perez joined RN Guardian as Executive Director and now serves as CEO, bringing with her a background in legislative policy and a strong commitment to nurse advocacy. Her deep understanding of California’s nursing regulations and her passion for protecting healthcare professionals led her to partner with Paul in building a company that redefines legal support for nurses. Together, they lead RN Guardian with a shared mission: to defend, empower, and stand beside nurses every step of the way.
