RN Guardian was founded by Paul Goyette, a distinguished labor and employment attorney with decades of experience representing public safety professionals across California. Having built comprehensive legal defense programs for police officers, firefighters, and other first responders, Paul recognized a critical gap in support for nurses facing disciplinary actions from licensing boards. RN Guardian was created as a focused practice area through his law firm - offering nurses the same level of protection and legal advocacy traditionally reserved for other licensed professionals.
Jennifer Coalson-Perez joined RN Guardian as Executive Director, bringing with her a background in legislative policy and a strong commitment to nurse advocacy. Her deep understanding of California’s nursing regulations and her passion for protecting healthcare professionals led her to join a firm. that redefines legal support for nurses. RN Guardian’s mission: to defend, empower, and stand beside nurses every step of the way.
